Anasuya Bharadwaj, who won millions of heart with her wonderful performance in recently released movie Rangasthalam, starring Ram Charan Teja and Samantha Akkineni, in the direction of Sukumar, has now bagged a key role in upcoming YSR biopic, which is titled as Yatra and will be helmed by Mahi V Raghav. Anasuya Bharadwaj will be seen in a short and prominent role in Yatra. Malayalam megastar Mammootty is playing the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR) in this film.
The sources close to the film unit reveal that Anasuya Bharadwaj will be seen playing a politician from the Kurnool district who played a key role during YSR’s regime in AP. The official confirmation is awaited regarding it.
The YSR biopic Yatra will be bankrolled under the banner of 70mm Entertainments and it will be arrived at the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi. Yatra will focus especially on the period from 1999-2004 when Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR) undertook his famous Padayatra which ultimately proved instrumental in catapulting him to a comprehensive victory in the 2004 polls.
According to the latest buzz, Suhasini Maniratnam will be seen playing the role of Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy and Rao Ramesh will essay the role of K.V.P.Ramachandra Rao who was a very close associate of Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR).
On the otherside, Anausya Bharadwaj has also been roped in to play a crucial role in Anil Ravipudi’s directorial venture F2 (Fun and Frustration) in which Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej will play the lead roles. It will be bankrolled by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
After making an impact as a village belle in ‘Rangasthalam’, it’ll be really interesting to see Anasuya Bharadwaj don another challenging role.
