We have already reported that Vishnu Manchu is the new president of the Movie Artists Association – MAA, as he has defeated his rival Prakash Raj in a tightly fought MAA elections 2021. Manchu father Mohan Babu played a huge role in his son’s victory. It is said that he took control of Manchu Vishnu’ campaign and threw his entire might behind him, leading him to a comfortable win. Incidentally, several media portals reported that anchor turned actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, who is a member of Prakash Raj’s panel has won as an Executive Committee member.
Later it was declared that Anasuya Bharadwaj has lost the election. Subsequently, the actress who contested as the executive committee member in the MAA elections faced defeat and made some allegations over the results.
As she has lost the elections, she questioned how the results changed over a night? Anasuya Bharadwah wrote on microblogging page: Yesterday it was said that I won with a thumping majority. Now they are saying I lost the election. Just wondering how did the results change overnight?,”
On the work front Anasuya Bharadwaj is currently working with stylish Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in action and romantic drama Pushpa: The Rise which is helmed by Sukumar.
