The movie marks her big-screen comeback after nearly two decades. While the promotional tour of the rural drama Jayamma Panchayathi had commenced in Warangal, Suma along with the team had later interacted with the media and spoke about the movie. The pre-release event of Jayamma Panchayathi will be held at Daspalla Convention, Hyderabad today and now according to the latest report, Anchor Suma Kanakala has sent special invitation to King Nagarjuna and Nani.

The film Jayamma Panchayathi has story, screenplay, dialogues and direction by first-time filmmaker Vijay Kumar Kalivarapu and it is produced by Balaga Prakash under Vennela Creations.
Suma Kanakala is known for hosting many Telugu movies, audio launches, film awards and functions. She is fluent in Hindi, English, and Tamil.
