Everyone is aware of that Shahid Kapoor is playing the lead role in Kabir Singh, the remake of Telugu blockbuster movie Arjun Reddy. Few days ago, the makers of Arjun Reddy released a trailer, that grabbed several eyeballs and everyone praised Shahid Kapoor. At the trailer launch event of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor interacted with media and when one of the reporter asked Kiara Advani about how many kisses can one expect in this upcoming film. Kiara replied, “ I didn’t count.” But Shahid Kapoor said, “We are getting the money for the kiss only.” But when the reporter repeated the same question again to Kiara Advani, it raised the anger of Shahid Kapoor and he blasted reporter.
Shahid Kapoor said, “Didn’t you have a girlfriend in a long time? if you want to see kissing scenes, you will have to pay for it. Why do you have to ask only about the kissing scenes? We have also acted in this film.”
Kabir Singh is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who helmed the original version of Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. Arjun Reddy remake is set to hit the theaters on 21st June.
Kabir Singh has Shahid Kapoor in two avatars, as a college rebel who falls head over heels in love with a fellow medical student and as a surgeon failing miserably at coping with having lost her.
