Bollywood  actor Anil Kapoor recently  talked about the success that south Indian cinema has been witnessing of late with films like  KGF: Chapter 2, Pushpa: The Rise and Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR.  During the trailer launch event of  his son Harshvarrdhan Kapoor,’ Thar, Anil Kapoor said, “South  Indian Film Industry has always been making exceptional films, they have always been at the forefront of changing the dynamics of  the Indian cinema. I am very happy that they are breaking into new territories. South Indian cinema serves as an inspiration to Bollywood- Hindi film Industry and has been a pillar of strength for the Indian cinema.”

In a career spanning over 40 years as an actor and as a producer since 2005,  Anil Kapoor has acted in more than 100 films. Recognized for his main roles in multiple iconic, popular and cult films, he has received several accolades including 2 National Film Awards and 6 Filmfare Awards.
Anil Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with a small role in  Hamare Tumhare in 1979 and later appeared in the Telugu film Vamsa Vruksham which was released in 1980.
Mr India stare also revealed that he started his career with films down south and it gave him immense pleasure to see them doing so well.  He concluded it by saying  that south industry has always been an inspiration.
