It is known news that NTR biopic is being made by Krish, and now Anil Sunkara and Abhishek Agarwal are also planning to make a biopic on India’s legendary scientist, APJ Abdul Kalam. According to the latest update, it will be made on the lavish budget and on Hollywood standards. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Anil Kumar will be seen playing the role of Abdul Kalam in this biopic.
Apparently, Anil Kapoor was quite excited when he heard the script. An official announcement will be made regarding the biopic of Abdul Kalam. The biopic will be based on the biography on Abdul Kalam’s life penned by Raj Chengappa. The per production work has been already started and the regular shoot is expected to commence from next year in the month of January.
Recently it was also heard that Anil Kapoor will be seen in Vidhu Chopra’s film. Earlier both Anil Kapoor and Vidhu Chopra have worked together for cult films such as 1942: A Love Story and Parinda. But recently the film maker has refuted the rumour. Coming back with the movie Ek Ladki ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Vidhu Vinod Chopra says he does not write a script keeping the actors in mind, but cast them based on requirement of the story. Recently during the media interaction, he said, “I did not write a story for Anil Kapoor, but he was a perfect choice. When I wrote 1942: A Love Story or Parinda, I wrote the story first and then approached Anil Kapoor because he was the right choice for the character that he played.” Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga features Rajkummar Rao, Sonam Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla.
Anil Kapoor is well known face for Telugu audiences as he made his Telugu debut with Vamsa Vruksham, which was released in 1980.
