Senior actor Murali Mohan participated in the NTR centenary celebrations organized in Hyderabad. Murali Mohan who paid tribute to NTR said that it is painful not to give the Bharat Ratna to a great person like NTR. He said that he is appealing to announce the Bharat Ratna to NTR before May 28, which is his birthday.
CPI National General Secretary D. Raja also attended the event. Speaking in this program, he mentioned that NTR stole people’s hearts with his great acting. He praised NTR for making his mark in politics. It is believed that NTR is a political leader with a very sensitive mind.
He described NTR as a true leader who brought reforms in Andhra Pradesh and knew the plight of the poor. That is why everyone calls NTR the Yuga Purusha. He has a unique style as a political leader and is praised as a visionary. D. Raja made it clear that regional parties got respect and recognition because of NTR. He said that he worked for social justice.
On the occasion, Balakrishna said NTR has got a permanent place in people’s minds and has done many experiments in movies. The schemes introduced by NTR as Chief Minister are still inspiring today. He reminded that for the first time in the country, women were given equal rights in property. Balayya explained that today everyone is talking about food security, but NTR gave rice to 1.20 crore people at Rs 2 per kg.
