Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to essay the role of Thala Ajith Kumar for the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster movie ‘Vedhalam’. If ongoing buzz in media and the film industry are to be believed, the makers of Vedhalam remake are planning to rope Baahubali and Nishabdham fame Anushka Shetty on the board to play the female lead role and if the actress says yes, she will be seen romancing Megastar Chiranjeevi in this film, which will be helmed by ‘Billa’ fame Meher Ramesh. If everything goes accordingly, very soon the official announcement regarding Anushka Shetty’ inclusion in this remake will be made.
The sources revealed that Chiranjeevi is impressed with the changes made to the original script and the Vedalam remake will have its formal launch ceremony on 18th January 2021 with pooja ceremony. Sarileru Neekevvaru producer Anil Sunkara will be bankrolling the project with Konidela productions and the music composer Mani Sharma is likely to compose the music for this as-yet-untitled film.
The national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh will essay the role of Chiranjeevi’ sister in Vedhalam remake.
It is known news that Anuahka Shetty played a cameo in Chiranjeevi’ previous offering Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy under the direction of Surender Reddy.
