Tollywood.net has already reported that Michael Madsen is on the board to play the villain in Anushka Shetty’s starrer upcoming bilingual (Telugu Tamil Movie) movie Silence, which will be helmed by Hemanth Madhukar and co-produced by Kona Venkat. According to the latest update, Hollywood actor Michael Madsen was reportedly offered around Rs 3 cr for his role in Anushka Shetty starrer in which Madhavan is playing the lead role. Silence will mark Michael Madsen‘s debut in Tollywood. The sources close to the makers revealed that Kill Bill star was apparently offered Rs 3 crore for his role in the Hemanth Madhukar’s directorial venture.
As the makers have already announced that they are roping big Hollywood actors, they are trying to bring Michael Madsen on the board at any cost. Though the talk has been initiated but he is yet to sign in on the dotted lines.
It is heard that recently the makers of Silence approached Michael Madsen and narrated the story-line. He was pleased to come on board. However, a few modalities are being worked out, including remuneration.
As Michael Madsen is going to get Rs 3 Cr , this is more than what Anushka Shetty has got for SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali. Michael Madsen’s popular movies are Kill Me Again, The Hateful Eight, Trading Paint, and he will be next seen in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
On 7th November, Kona Venkat announced his movie with Anushka Shetty on the occasion of her birthday. He tweeted, “My best birthday wishes to the wonderful human being Anushka!! Happy to start our next project with her soon… Shooting begins in 2019 in U.S.A. @peoplemediafcy @ActorMadhavan @actorsubbaraju @KonaFilmCorp @hemantmadhukar @Gopimohan.” On 25th December, Kona Venkat also released a photo featured Anushka Shetty and wrote, “We are super excited with the look of Anushka in our film. This would be her best look till date. I like this look too.”
