The beautiful actress Anushka Shetty has impressed her fans and the movie lovers with her fabulous performances in movies like Arundhati, Vedam, Panchakshari, Baahubali series, Rudhramadevi, Size Zero, Bhaagamathie, and many others. She was last seen playing the female lead in woman centric movie Nishabdham, which received mixed response on its release day. Anushka Shetty who has mostly been seen playing women-oriented roles in her movies, is now not showing much enthusiasm to sign up for new films. Her silent drama ‘Nishabdham’ had a direct release on OTT but after the release of this film, she did not make an announcement regarding her next project.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Anushka Shetty was in the talk of three women centric movies but she rejected the offer as she is not interested in female centric movies.
The sources say that Anushka Shetty wants to act in one film a year and she is preferring to work with her friends, or production houses that are close to her.
Her previous offering Nishabdham was a mystery-thriller, that also starred Madhavan as a celebrity musician Anthony, Anjali as Crime Detective Seattle PD Maha, Michael Madsen as a Seattle PD cop Richard Dickens, Subbaraju as a Wildlife Photographer Vivek, Shalini Pandey and Srinivas Avasarala in the crucial roles.
