Anushka Shetty and Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan played a cameo in recently released period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role. The movie is directed by Surender Reddy and is bankrolled by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions. Sye Raa is made on the lavish budget of Rs 270 Cr and it earned Rs 38.73 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu States and 53.88 Cr worldwide on its opening day. Recently during the media interaction, Chiranjeevi spoke about the remuneration of Anushka Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan for this film Sye Raa.
Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Shetty’s remuneration for the film and said, “Surender Reddy wanted to rope Amitabh Bachchan to play the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’s guru Gosai Venkanna as he felt that Big B would be fit for this role. When the role to offer to Bollywood Megastar, he immediately gave his green signal. He did not even take a single penny as remuneration. Like Amitabh Bachchan Anushka Shetty also did not take the remuneration of Sye Raa. When Ram Charan offered the role, Anushka Shetty came from the USA and shot for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.”
Anushka Shetty also thanked Chiranjeevi as she got the opportunity to work with him.
