Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Baahubali and Rudhramadevi fame Anushka Shetty has been approached to play the female lead in Gautham Menon’ directorial venture which is said to be a sequel to Vinnayathandi Varuvaaya. But recently during an interview, Anushka Shetty cleared the air on it and revealed that she has a two film deal with the director Gautham Menon, and they can work anytime of the year, without any call sheets.
Bhaagamthie actress Anushka Shetty added, “Gautham Menon and I are very close. He can call me anytime and happily discuss the storyline with me.”
The reports are coming that Anushka Shetty has decided to work with Gautham Menon and it is being heard that the film will also have versatile actor Kamal Haasan. This is the first time, Anushka will be seen sharing the screen space with Kamal for a movie and this film might be the sequel of Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu.
It is also being heard that Gautham Menon had narrated the story to Kamal Haasan already and the actor is also impressed with the narration. If everything will go accordingly, very soon the official announcement will be made regarding Gautham, Kamal and Anushka Shetty’ project.
