It is known news that she will be seen in upcoming movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, in which Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the freedom fighter. According to the latest update, Anushka Shetty will be seen playing the role of Rani Lakshmibai in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Apart from acting, she will also lend her voice for the movie.
Anushka Shetty is known to pick roles that are versatile and have a scope for exhibiting her acting chops. Apparently, Anushka Shetty will be essaying the role of Lakshmibai- the Queen of Jhansi, the leading figure of the Indian Rebellion of 1857 in Sye Raa.
Chiranjeevi is essaying the role of freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy in the period drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is directed by Surender Reddy and is bankrolled by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela productions.
Apart from acting as Jhansi Ke Rani- Lakshmibai, Anushka Shetty will also describe and reveal the heroics of the unsung hero, Narasimha Reddy.
The sources say that Sye Raa will start with Anushka Shetty narrating the story. Her voice will help in accentuating the surreal experience for the audience. The movie is expected to hit the theaters on 2nd October.
