Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Delhi. Jagan Mohan Reddy met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi. CM Jagan met with her for 40 minutes. It seems that the state’s financial conditions, funds and various projects were discussed with her.
Recently, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy thanked Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the release of revenue deficit funds of Rs10 thousand crores and the release of other pending funds.
CM Jagan Mohan Reddy thanked the Union Government for the assistance it was providing to Andhra Pradesh. Jagan Reddy said the state government was facing problems in borrowing beyond the limit set during 2016-2019. CM sought a relaxation in this respect.
Jagan Mohan Reddy explained to the Union Finance Minister that in the health sector, from village clinics to teaching hospitals, several works have been undertaken under Nadu-Nedu and Rs 4,000 crore was spent. These programmes will shape the future of the Andhra Pradesh and expenditure incurred for these should be treated as capital investment. The special assistance provision should be applied for Andhra Pradesh in this respect.
As part of his visit to Delhi, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy sought the appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
