During the meeting, organized by Joint Action Committees yesterday across Guntur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Prakasam, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and many other districts, the government employee unions have aggravated their oppositions against the 11th PRC. At PRC Sadhana Samithi, the Union leaders have intimidated that they would purvey a strike notice today.

But, the state government stood stringent on it’s commitments and it is completely at variance with the employees. MLC Lakshmana Rao asked the government to cancel the 11th PRC as it would subside the salaries in lieu of effecting salary increment. Vidya Sagar, the district president of APNGOs Association, is on the lookout for the cancellation of all related GOs.
Vidya Sagar claimed that AP employees are in intolerance for the decline in HRA, cancellation of CCA, reduce in fitment of 23% from an interim relief of 27%, change in PRC once in every 10 years against current practice of once in 5 years. He promulgated that the government employees across the state would go in for a rally that will be held in Vijayawada on Tuesday, a Chalo Vijayawada rally on February 3, and after that, a strike will be commenced from February 7 by all the employees.
