Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Raj Bhavan.  Raj Bhavan officials in Vijayawada earlier said the AP governor complained of uneasiness and was flown to Hyderabad on a special aircraft from Gannavaram airport. His wife Suprava Harichandan and son Prithvi Raj Harichandan accompanied him. Biswa Bhusan was suffering from cough and cold.  Currently he is undergoing treatment at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) Hospitals at Gachibowli in Hyderabad.

A team of expert doctors are monitoring  the  health of AP governor. The sources say that Harichandan tested +ive for coronavirus after admitting to AIG multi speciality Hospital in Hyderabad and later he was shifted from Andhra Pradesh to Telangana on a special flight after suffering from illness.

Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundrarajan visited the hospital,  and she interacted with AIG Hospitals Chairman Dr Nageshwar Reddy to enquire  Biswa Bhusan about Harichandan’s health condition. Tamilisai Soundrarajan also wished Harichandan a speedy recovery.

The reports are coming that AP Governor  Harichandan’s condition is stable.

A medical bulletin released by Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Hospitals  revealed the Governor had tested Covid-19 positive on 15th  November. He has been evaluated by a multidisciplinary team. His condition is stable with normal oxygen saturation at room air.
