In the midst of facing several issues with students’ attendance application introduced by the Andhra Pradesh government, the government teachers are asking the authorities to furnish mobile phones to use the app. They have been not showing interest upon the facial attendance in the mobile app.

On Thursday, a brief discussion was held by the teachers’ unions with the Educational minister Botsa Satyanarayana in the Velagapudi secretariat. During the meeting, Botsa told them that the state government is planning to initiate the mobile application for attendance in all the departments in the near future. He also told them that it would not be possible for the government to purchase mobiles for all the govt employees, it would cost Rs 200 crore.
