Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati is coming up with an upcoming multilingual drama Haathi Mere Saathi. It’s Telugu version is titled Aranya. Today the makers released Aranya teaser, which is grabbing several eyeballs Rana Daggubati followed a strict diet and underwent extensive training to lose weight after acting in SS Rajamouli’ Baahubali series, for Aranya/ Haathi Mere Saathi.
Going by the teaser of Aranya, it looks like Rana Daggubati and Vishnu Vishal’ characters are fighting for the rights of animals. Aranya has extensive VFX sequences which has been done by Prana Studios, the studio behind Hollywood biggies such as Thor, and the Bollywood film Detective Bymokesh Bakshi.
The story of Aranya is inspired by true events, of humans encroaching the elephant corridors in Kaziranga and Assam. Rana Daggubati is essaying the role of a 50-year-old man who seems to be living in the jungle.
Haathi Mere Saathi will release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil and Rana Daggubati will be seen playing the lead roles in all three. Pulkit Samrat co-stars with Rana Daggubati in the Hindi film while actor Vishnu Vishal features in the Tamil and Telugu versions. The movie also has Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain in all three versions.
