Telugu actress Archana Shastry has tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Jagadeesh on Thursday. The pre-wedding reception was attended by few Tollywood celebrities which include Ali, K Raghavendra Rao, T Subbarami Reddy and Manchu Lakshmi. The marriage was a private affair and was restricted to family members and few friends.
Archana Shastry got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Jagadeesh in a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad on 3rd October. The engagement ceremony took place at a plush hotel which was attended by Archana and Jagadeesh’ family members. Bigg Boss Telugu season 1 winner Siva Balaji with wife Madhumitha, her co-contestant Navdeep, actor Sumanth were spotted in the engagement ceremony. Besides blessing the couple, the Bigg Boss BFFs posed for some lovely pictures. On the occasion of engagement, Archana Shastry wore a gold and pink saree with intricate embroidery work in her blouse, whereas Jagadish chose a gold and off-white sherwani. Finally after the engagement Archana and Jagadeesh tied the knot on 13th November.
Jagadeesh is a businessman and he holds a top position in a healthcare company. It is said that the love birds Archana and Jagadish were dating each other for several years before getting engaged.
Archana Shastry had been away from the film industry since a very long time. She is known for her roles in films like Tapana, Nenu and Konchem Touchlo Vunte Cheputanu. She was one of the participants in the first season of controversial reality show Bigg Boss Telugu and managed to win the hearts of the audience by being in the top 10. Archana was also a part of Prabhu Deva’s blockbuster film, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, which was released in 2005.
