The sources say that Sandeep Vanga’s associate Girisayya may direct Varmaa. However, official confirmation is awaited. Few days ago, the production house E4 Entertainment released a statement and said, “ We aren’t happy with director Bala’s version of the film, thereby announcing the Arjun Reddy remake will be re-shot with a new team.”
If Girisayya accepts the offer and comes on the board, it will be a risky project for Dhruv Vikram. It has also come out that Vikram is planning to approach Gautham Menon to helm his son Dhruv Vikram’s upcoming film. The film marks the debut of Dhruv into films. Hence, his father Vikram wants it to be a perfect launch pad for his son. He thought Bala would be the best choice for his son’s debut film but unfortunately, the decision backfired. Now, he is looking for another choice of director for the film. Currently, Vikram and Gautham Menon are working for Dhruva Nachatirama and after liking his style of work, Vikram Kumar is thinking to sign up Gautham Menon for Varmaa. Apparently, the talks are going on. Now we have to wait and see that who get the opportunity to re-shoot Varmaa, Girisayya or Gautham Menon?
Arjun Reddy, starring young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey, was a runaway hit. Currently, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is directing Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the Hindi remake -Kabir Singh.
