A man who worked as assistant director of Tollywood star director Puri Jagannath committed suicide. His name is Sai Kumar. Recently he committed Sucide by jumping into Durgam cheruvu in Hyderabad. After the locals informed the police about this, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
According to the details collected by them, Sai Kumar was found to be working as an assistant director for director Puri Jagannath. Later in their investigation it was found that he committed suicide due to debts. Sai Kumar started his career as an assistant director with the intention of becoming a good director in the future.
But it is clear that financial circumstances have claimed him. In fact, those who work as assistant directors do not receive salaries. But not much. They give food and petrol expenses..! Many people join as an assistant director just to learn what a director does.
An assistant director job will also help to understand how to develop script work. But Some say that doing the same thing for years is of no use. Sai Kumar’s suicide incident can also be an example of that.
