The actor, film maker and choreographer Raghava Lawrence who will resume shooting for Rudhran directed and produced by Five Star Films Kathiresan has signed yet another film which will be co produced by Asuran fame Vetrimaaran. Director of Dhanush and Manju Varrier starrer Asuran which won National Award, Vetrimaaran is providing the script for this film Adhigaaram. Yesterday the makers of Adhigaaram released the motion poster. Apart from writing the script, ace filmmaker Vetrimaaran will also be co-producing the film through his production house, Grass Root Film Company, in association with S Kathiresan of Five Star Creations LLP.
The action thriller Adhigaaram starring Raghava Lawrence will be directed by Vetrimaaran’s associate director Durai Senthil Kumar who previously helmed Kaaki Sattai, Ethir Neechal, Kodi, and Pattas.
Currently Vetrimaaran is busy with two directorial ventures Viduthalai and Vaadivaasal, which are in the different production stages. And Lawrence will soon join the sets of Rudhran, which marks the directorial debut of Kathiresan and it has Priya Bhavani Shankar in the female lead role. The fifty percent of the shoot of this film has been already completed and the makers are planning to complete the remaining portions in Chennai and Mumbai.
Raghava Lawrence was last seen playing the lead role in Kanchana 3, which he also directed.
