The director Atlee is currently busy in the promotional activities of his upcoming much-awaited movie Bigil in which Vijay and Nayantara are playing the lead roles. Bigil is also releasing in Telugu as Whistle. During the pre-release event of Whistle in Hyderabad, Atlee praised Jr NTR. According to a few, indirectly Atlee hinted that he is going to team up with Jr NTR for a project.
The director Atlee and his wife Priya attended the prerelease event of Whistle in Hyderabad which was also graced by Telugu director Harish Shankar who just delivered a hit movie with Gaddalakonda Ganesh in which Mega Prince Varun Tej, Atharvaa, Mirnalini Ravi and Pooja Hegde played the lead roles.
On this occasion, Atlee revealed, “After my every film release, I used to get a call from Jr NTR sir. He has pushed me every moment. He always says your movie is awesome and you are doing great.”
It looks like, Atlee and Jr NTR’s movie is on the card. Young Tiger Jr NTR is popular for mass entertainer whereas Atlee is famous for delivering commercial drama.
If everything will go accordingly, Atlee will make a straight Telugu film with J NTR after completing his debut Hindi movie starring Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan.
Atlee’ Bigil is arriving at the theaters on 25th October on the occasion of Diwali. Since Vijay enjoys huge fan following in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the makers are dubbing and releasing the movie in Telugu as Whistle on the same date.
On the other side, currently, Jr NTR is busy in the shoot of his next upcoming big-budget entertainer RRR in which Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt are playing the lead roles. The movie RRR is being helmed by Rajamouli and is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment.
