Tollywood had a fabulous 2020 start with two biggies Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo are having a dream run at the box office. Trade was in tensed position before the two biggies release as they had only one day gap between the releases and almost 200 crores money is at stake. But all the fears vanished within no time as both the movies have found their target audiences.
From the past couple of years the trend is that few movies fail at the box office and the movie which was successful in getting good mouth talk take away all the honors. This happened with last year’s F2. But this year as both the movies have got good mouth talk, audiences are dividing over both the movies.
While Sarileru Neekevvaru is performing extremely well in B and C centers, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo is getting hold in A centers and multiplexes. Masses and Mahesh fans are satisfied with the way Mahesh has been shown and songs are shot. Mahesh’s oora mass avatar is getting huge reception. Ala Vaikunthapuramulo on the other hand is termed as a class entertainer. Families and urban audiences are lacing up with the movie.
Hope both the movies end up as safe ventures. Sarileru Neekevvaru needs to collect 103 Crores while Ala Vaikunthapuramulo needs 90 Crores to be termed as a hit.
