The most-awaited film, James Cameron‘s long-awaited movie Avatar 2 (Avatar: The Way Of Water) is set for a release in India on 16th December. The expectations on this movie upped after getting rave reviews from the early premieres happened a few days ago. The trailer has already proved that a man’s imagination knows no bounds as the movie excels in visual splendor. 2009 blockbuster Avatar dealt with the conservation of forests, while the sequel now reflects on greed of humans that is killing the planet and marine life.
In India, the movie is carrying decent buzz. The craze of the movie lovers to have the theatrical experience made the film set a new record. Before the screening, more than 4 lakh and 40 thousand tickets were sold in major multiplex chains across India for the opening weekend. Earlier, Yash and Srinidhi Shetty starrer action drama KGF 2, helmed by Prashanth Neel, held the record for the most sold tickets 4 lakh 11 thousand tickets in advance.
The traders are expecting that Avatar 2 would make Rs 30-40 cr in the first weekend. The movie Avatar 2 has already been released in London and the special screening was organized for Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai.
