The rural drama Pushpa:  The  Rise,  directed by Sukumar and featuring Allu Arjun  and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, narrates the story of a laborer who rises in power and becomes a part of the red sander syndicate. Pushpa is the name of the lead actor , who fears nothing and strives for ultimate power and control. Throughout the film,   he reminds his enemies that he is not Pushpa the flower but rather the fire.  Pushpa The Rise grossed over Rs 300 Cr and turned out a blockbuster at the box office. The movie also received the fantastic response in Bollywood. Now all eyes are on its second part, Pushpa: The Rule.

Sukumar has already finalized the story of Pushpa 2 and the makers are planning to wrap up the entire shoot by the end of  this year and release it next year.  First part shows how laborer Pushpa becomes the leader of the Pushpa Syndicate and what the challenges he faced in this journey.

According to the sources, Sukumar is getting ready to shock viewers by showing Keshava (Jagadeesh), Pushpa’s right hand backstabbing him. If this news turns out to be true and will be shown on screen, then it will indeed leave movie lovers shell shocked. It seems the character of Keshava in Pushpa: The Rise is similar to Kattappa in Baahubali. The sources added that Sukumar and Allu Arjun are discussing on twists that people cannot guess so easily.
