Baahubali makers – Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are going to enter the Digital world. According to the latest update, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni who bankrolled the Baahubali series under the banner of Arka Media, have joined their hands with Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and soon they will venture into producing digital entertainment. Together they plan to co-produce three web series.
Arka Media Works is a film production and trans-media company based out of Hyderabad, known for their works in Television, Telugu cinema, and Bollywood. Founded in 2001 by Shobu Yarlagadda, and Prasad Devineni.
The sources say that Ranveen Tandon had been planning to step into production for a long time. Mast Mast girl is well-versed with the workings of the business as her husband, Anil Thadani, is a well-known film distributor. A Lavish office has been set up and currently they are in the search of creative and talented directors, who can helm the web series. Shobu Yarlagadda is currently focusing on web content and will produce web series. He is personally monitoring the pre-production and scripting work of these projects. Recently during the media interaction, Raveen Tandop opened up about the web series. She said, “One is a contemporary drama whereas the remaining two belong to the mythological genre.” She added, “The projects will probably go on floors in the next few months.”
