Balakrishna donates Rs 25 Lakhs for Cyclone Titli VictimsNandamuri Balakrishna has also come forward for the support of  victims affected by the Cyclone Titli. According to the latest update, Balakrishna has donated Rs 25 lakhs for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Relief Fund to help the victims affected by the cyclone.  We have already reported that Nandamuri brothers- Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyanram, Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Devarakonda and Nikhil Siddhartha lended their helping hands to the victims of the cyclone. Now the name of Balakrishna has also been added in this list.

Cyclone Titli has caused widespread destruction in Andhra Pradesh and the state is struggling to get back up on its feet and return to  the normal life. Titli hit the Andhra-Odisha coast last week leaving 8 dead and affected 872 villages.

The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with several celebrities, has also been urging the public to step in contribute to  the help restore normalcy in the state. On 14th October, Chandrababu Naidu wrote on his Twitter, “Cyclone Titli has left many of the lives in devastation in the northern coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh. Join hands with Government of Andhra Pradesh in rebuilding their lives. Make a difference by contributing to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund & become a part of our efforts”

 According to the latest report, which is filed by the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA), 18 mandals in Srikakulam have been affected by Cyclone Titli.

 On the work-side, Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy in his next upcoming film NTR biopic, in which he is playing the titular role- his father and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, which is being directed by Krish.

 Balakrishna was last seen K. S. Ravikumar’s directorial venture Paisa Vasool, in which Nayantara played the female lead role and the movie was just average at the box office.
