Senior hero and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna’ EX Personal Assistant Sekhar Naidu, who is known as ‘Paisa Vasool Naidu’, has been awarded 3 year jail term and 3 lakh rupees fine. On Saturday, the ACB Court in Nellore pronounced Sekhar Naidu guilty in a decade old disproportionate assets case and sentenced him for 3 years and imposed a penalty of Rs 3 lakhs.
The ex PA Sekhar Naidu of Balakrishna was accused of demanding bribes from TDP (Telugu Desam Party) leaders and local people for getting benefits under government schemes. Later, he was removed from his post by MLA. He was working as assistant engineer in Padmavathi University. He came on deputation as PA to MLA Balakrishna in 2014.
In 2017 Sekhar Naidu faced immense allegations for his alleged corruption using MLA Balakrishna’ name. When Balakrishna and other TDP leaders came to know that Sekhar is using their name and power for his benefit, they took serious action against him. A case was registered against Sekhar Naidu in 2008.
On the work side, Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in NTR biopic, where he essayed the role of his father, later Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. He will be next seen in KS Ravikumar’ directorial venture.
