Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-awaited film, Akhanda was put on hold due to the second wave of the coroanvirus and lockdown but yesterday the makers resumed the shooting of this film which has Pragya Jaiswal in the female lead role. The fresh schedule has started with the shooting of a crucial scene. Yesterday the makers of Akhanda confirmed the same by sharing a working still on social media sites. Coming on the working still, Balakrishna is seen in aghora gate up. Balayya Babu is seen in black and saffron costumes, rudrakshas and a salt and pepper look . Akhanda is being directed by Boyapati Srinu.
Expectations are quite high on the project Akhanda, given the two films in the actor and director’s combination were blockbusters and the second teaser of Akhanda that presented Balayya as an Aghora was well received. Though first teaser of Akhanda too got a wonderful response, the second teaser got record views.
Miryala Ravinder Reddy is producing Akhanada in which Balakrishna is playing the dual role. Paisa Vassol and Lion fame actor Balakrishna is playing a double role for the sixteenth time with Akhanda, one of which will have him portray the part of an Aghori.
S Thaman is rendering the tune, while C Ram Prasad is cranking the camera.
