Balakrishna special treat for Lovers?

Balakrishna special treat for Lovers?Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer NTR biopic first part Kathanayakudu was released on 9th January 2019 on the eve of Sankranthi and received positive response by the movie lovers and critics and now all eyes are on its second part NTR Mahanayakudu. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, NTR Mahanayakudu’s release may get delayed and might not release on 8th February  as announced earlier. The grapevine says that Balakrishna starrer may now release on 14th February on Lovers Day/ Valentine Day, which is yet to be confirmed officially by the makers.

Directed by Krish, NTR Kathanayakudu portrayed the cinematic journey of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The second part of the NTR biopic, Mahanayakudu will depict the political journey of NTR. The first part, NTR Kathanayakudu, ended with the announcement of his political party and it is expected that NTR Mahanayakudu will take off from that juncture.

 On the other side, another biopic Yatra, based on the life of late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy is also scheduled to hit the theaters on 8th February 2019. As the makers of NTR Mahanayakudu don’t want to clash, they are planning to postpone the release of their film.

Apart from Balakrishna, the movie also has other stars. Vidya Balan is playing the role of Basavaramatarakam,  former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and legendary actor NT Rama Rao’s first wife. Vidya Balan is not new to biopics, as she had also worked on Silk Smita’s biopic titled Dirty Picture in Hindi.  Rana Daggubati is essaying current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Sumanth will be seen in the role of his grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Manjima Mohan as Nara Bhuvaneswari, Himmansi Chowdary as Daggubati Purandeswari, Bharath Reddy as Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram as Nandamuri Harikrishna.

NTR Mahanayakudu is jointly produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati Ranganatha, Vishnu Induri under NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, Vibri Media banners whereas the music is scored by MM Keeravani.
