As the actress did not pay for the fare, the driver took to media to inform other cab drivers about the same. The cab driver from Hyderabad, named Raghava Raju claimed that Mumaith Khan cheated him by not paying the cab fare of Rs. 15,000.
On Thursday, Mumaith Khan lodged a complaint with the Punjagutta police against cab driver Raghava Raju for “false allegations” against her on social media saying she had not paid the driver for using his services during the trip to the Goa. She also accused Raghava Raju of harassing her mentally.
Mumaith Khan interacted with media and said, “I booked a cab for travelling from Hyderabad to Goa and back. Cab driver Raghava Raju had asked for Rs 20,000 and I agreed to pay Rs 22,000 including stay, food and travel permits. Instead of leaving on 20th September, we stayed an extra day and left for Hyderabad on 21st September.
I agreed to pay Rs 1000 extra for it. Raju was carrying a stick and kept trying to record me secretly while updating some other people about our location. And after reaching Hyderabad, he demanded Rs 8000 more and refused to give us our bags. I decided to file a complaint against Raju for cheating, negligent driving and abuse. I hope the police will take strict action against the cab driver.”
