Bandla Ganesh has made his entry in politics by joining the Congress party in the presence of Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi at Delhi recently. He said, he will be contesting from Shadnagar if he is given a ticket by Congress party, but the ticket is not given to him. Recently during the media interaction, Bandla Ganesh answering to a question about turning a Bakara in Congress party, he stated that the ticket went to TDP as a part of alliance, but that he has turned a bakara. Bandla Ganesh also said that Congress party would win the elections and added, “If my words go wrong and if Congress Party faces a defeat in elections, I will commit suicide. I will cut off my throat.”
Bandla Ganesh challenged that he would commit suicide if Congress party faces a defeat in the Telangana general polls. It is known news that Telangana election is going to be held on 7th December and the results will be announced on 11th of the same month.
After joining the Congress party Bandla Ganesh has been making pungent remarks against TRS. Earlier Bandla Ganesh was an ardent supporter of power Star Pawan Kalyan, but he joined the Congress hoping that he would get a ticket to contest in the election.
Earlier in several interviews, Bandla Ganesh proclaimed that he would be contesting from Rajendranagar or Jubilee Hills constituency.
Recently Bandla Ganesh has been appointed as an official spokesperson of the party by TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
