Kollywood actor Suriya and Mollywood star Mohanlal are coming together with an upcoming action thriller drama Kaappaan, which Telugu version is titled as Bandobast. According to the latest update, Bandobast has completed the censor formalities and received U/A certificate from the censor board and the film’s run time has been locked at 165 minutes.
Bandobast is going to compete with Varun Tej starrer Valmiki which is arriving at the theaters tomorrow on 20th September 2019.
Kaappaan/Bandobast marks Mohanlal’s return to the Tamil industry after a gap of five years. He is playing the Prime Minister and Suriya as a Special Protection Group (SPG) officer in this film.
Recently during the media interaction, K V Anand said, “Bandobast is a well-made film. It is not only about action, but also relationships. It depicts a beautiful relationship between the Prime Minister and a SPG officer.” He also showered praises for Suriya and described him as a committed actor.
Suriya said, “Bandobast is really important to me for so many reasons. I am happy that I got an opportunity to wear the uniform and represent the heroes.”
The movie Bandobast is helmed by KV Anand and the film also has Sayyesha Saigal and Arya in Key roles in this spy thriller.
