Plus Points:

  • Nagarjuna
  • Performance
  • Comedy scenes
  • Cinematography

Minus Points:

  • Predictable narration
  • Lack of emotional connectivity

Performance:  King  Nagarjuna does complete justice to his character  and  screen presence and performance are highlighted.   Naga Chaitanya gets more screen space and performs well. Once again Ramya Krishnan has given fantastic performance. The  fun scenes, songs, fights and emotions featuring  Nagarjuna, Krithi Shetty, Naga Chaitanya are a major highlight to the film. Krithi Shetty does well as Naga Lakshmi. She looks cute in the Indian attire and shares good chemistry with Naga Chaitanya. Faria Abdullah, who does a special song looks good on the screen. Vennela Kishore’ comedy is the major assets. Rao Ramesh, Sampath Raj, Vennela Kishore and Jhansi make their presence felt.

Technical:   The music of the film Bangarraju is hugely impressive as all the songs are quite soothing and have also been shot quite nicely.  The production values are top notch and the excellent camera work only adds to the grand village visuals. Dialogues are quirky and suit the mood of the movie well. Screenplay of the film is quite simple. Coming to the work of  director Kalyan Krishna, he has done a superb job with  Bangarraju. Right from the first frame, he draws your attention with some wholesome entertainment and presents Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in an entertaining manner.

Analysis:  Bangarraju is a complete family entertainer.  It is a joyable watch for every section of the audience this Sankranthi season.
