Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer action drama Beast was released on 13th of April and it is doing decent collections at the Tamil Nadu box office. The craze of Beast amongst the audience has been burgeoning ever since the trailer has been launched. Apparently the movie Beast has locked a tentative OTT release plan. Vijay and Nelson’ film Beast will premiere on Netflix and Sun NXT on the 11th May, exactly 4 weeks post its theatrical release. Soon the official announcement regarding the OTT release date will be made.
Beast is facing very tough competition with Yash starrer KGF 2, which is helmed by Prashanth Neel and is produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner.
Beast got a huge opening at the ticket counters across the country on Wednesday Beast, however, is likely to have a bullish run at the box office in Tamil Nadu till Sunday. The movie also has dusky siren Pooja Hegde, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Selvaraghavan, VTV Ganesh and Redin Kingsley play important roles. Funded by Sun Pictures, the film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The movie revolves around an ex-RAW agent’s fight to rescue people held hostage in a shopping mall by terrorists.
