Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas starrer Rakshasudu has already created lot of buzz in the film industry. It is directed by Ramesh Varma Penmetsa who has previouslyhelmed ‘Ride’, ‘Veera’ and ‘Abbayitho Ammayi’ and is bankrolled by Satyanarayana Koneru under the banner of A Studio. Abhishek Pictures banner is releasing it worldwide. This time Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is pinning lot of hopes on this movie as his previous offering Sita, directed by Teja in which he shared the screen space with Kajal Aggarwal, was bombed at the box office. Now according to the latest update, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’s new film ‘Rakshasudu’ has been postponed. The serial killer thriller drama Rakshasudu which was supposed to hit the theaters on 19th July but now it will be released on 2nd August.
‘Rakshasudu’ is the remake of Tamil super hit film ‘Ratsasan’ and is directed by Ramesh Varma. The film features Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas as a cop and Anupama Parameshwaran as his love interest. The movie’s teaser received good response. Raatsasan was made on a shoe-string budget, in which Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul played the lead role and the movie was emerged hit at the box office.
Rakshasudu will have to fight with Sharwanand starrer Ranarangam, which is also releasing on the same day i.e 2nd August.
