As the speculations of the previous week turned out to be true, 2 contestants got eliminated from the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 6 house. The Telugu reality show airs every day on Star Maa and Disney+Hotstar. Akkineni Nagarjuna, the host of the Bigg Boss Telugu show, also announced the prize money for the winners of the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 6. It was recently announced in Bigg Boss 6 Telugu that the winner would receive Rs 50 lakhs as the prize money and it is no different from the previous seasons. But money was reduced in the recent episode of the show.
In a task, initiated to give a nominated contestant a chance to win the immunity, the nominated contestants had to buy the immunity. They had to write the value with which they want to purchase immunity on their Bigg Boss cheques and drop them in the drop box. The highest amount that could be written was Rs 5 lakhs while the lowest was Rs 1 lakh. Towards the end of the process, Rajsekhar won immunity by quoting Rs 4,99,970/- on his cheque. Hence, it was deducted from the prize money. As of now, the prize money stands at Rs. 44,00,300.
Negative comments are being heard on the deduction of Bigg Boss prize money. Few are saying that Bigg Boss organizers are doing cheap tricks in this way. Others say that the Prize money will be further reduced in the coming days.
