Sara Ali Khan was last seen playing the female lead in “Coolie No. 1” in which Varun Dhawan played the lead role, which is a remake of David Dhawan’s 1995 film of the same name. It was initially slated to release in theatres in May 2020. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, the film had a Christmas release.
She has also started the shoot of her upcoming film Atrangi Re, helmed by Aanand L. Rai, bankrolled by T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Nimrat Kaur.
