Story: Utham Kumar (Satya Dev) is an intelligent con man. He dreams up ingenious scams and executes them perfectly.  Later he meets Avani (Nandita Swetha), a kind-hearted girl.  He fixes a new deal and decided that after this deal he will settle down in life. What happens next? Will Utham Kumar become successful? What is the role of Avani? To get these answers, one should watch the movie on Silver screen.

 Plus Points:

  • Satyadev
  • Nandita Swetha
  • Performance
  • Climax

 Minus Points:

  • Lack of commercial elements
  • Few unnecessary scenes

Performance : Satya Dev is the heart and soul of the film. His body language and way of dialogue delivery is highlighted. He is perfect in the role of con man. Nanditha Swetha is good in the role of a kind-hearted girl. All the scenes between the lead pair have come out very well. Prithviraj and Vamsi are perfect for the roles, which they played in this film. Adithya Menon and others performed accordingly.

Technical: The con movie is a curious genre. The story line of Bluff Master is interesting.  The production values are good. Cinematography and background score by Sunil Kashyap  add to the drama.  This is not an easy film to visualize and execute, but Gopi Ganesh Pattabhi is successful in that aspect but Bluff Master lacks proper commercial format.

Analysis: The director Gopi Ganesh Pattabhi keeps us hooked with a steady supply of popular, well-thought-out scams, but fails to do away with the predictable melodrama. The real hero of Bluff Master  is its script, which, with its twists and turns, keeps us guessing for most parts of the film.
