BMC- Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has taken an action  against Bollywood and Tollywood actor Sonu Sood for converting a 6 storey residential building in Juhu into a hotel without receiving permission from the civic body.

According to the latest report, BMC filed a police complaint against Sonu Sood on 4th January in which it said that he had converted a residential building – named Shakti Sagar, on Juhu AB Nair Road into  the hotel without  the change of the user permissions. Mumbai civic body has asked the Juhu police to take cognizance of the offence committed by Sonu Sood under the Maharashtra Region and Town Planning Act citing unauthorized additions, alteration and change of the user.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation mentioned in its complaint that Somu Sood continued with the ‘unauthorised development even after the notice was sent to him.’

On the otherside, Sonu Sood said, “I have BMC – Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation permissions for change of user and I am  only waiting for a clearance from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority.”

Last year in the month of November, the Dabangg fame Sonu Sood had moved the city civil court against a notice sent by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, but he did not get any interim relief.

 On the work front, Sonu Sood will be seen in Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan film Acharya.
