Varun Tej is currently busy in the shoot of his upcoming movie Valmiki, which is progressing at the brisk pace. According to the latest update, People who hail from the Boya community are fired on Varun Tej as they are not happy that the mega hero is using the title Valmini. Boya community people are upset with the use of sage’ name as a title for Varun Tej starrer.
Valmiki is being helmed by Harish Shankar and he said that they are just using Valmiki title but the story has no any connection with real Valmiki of Boya community.
It has also come out that when Harish Shankar was shooting the movie in Anantapur, few people disrupted the shooting. So the director canceled the shoot and returned to Hyderabad. Now they are planning to start the shoot at Chevella region.
Valmiki is jointly produced Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta on 14 Reels Plus LLP whereas Mickey J Meyer is scoring the music. Karthik Subbaraj has penned the story and Chota K Prasad is handling the editing of the film. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in this gangster drama. Valmiki also has Kollywood actor Atharvaa Murali in supporting roles. The movie is set to hit the theaters on 8th September.
