Breaking: Central Government asks #TamilNadu Govt to revoke 100 % occupancy orders

The Tamil Naidu government issued orders allowing 100 percent occupancy of cinema theatres just a couple of days ago. The decision came as a response to the request from Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association.   But the Tamil Naidu government’s decision raked up discussion in the wake of the increasing number of Coronavirus cases in India and the threat of a new strain of the virus. It raised many concerns among the public about the spread of  Coronavirus in a closed space such as a theatre.  This order gives green signal to overlook social distancing in theaters, has drawn criticism from various quarters.

Now according to the latest update, on Tuesday the Central government shot off a stern letter to the Tamil Nadu Government,  and asked them to revoke their move of allowing 100 % occupancy in theatres. The State Government made the move after a meeting between Tamil actor Vijay and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami recently.
