In the BRS under the leadership of Telangana Chief Minister KCR, there are increasing numbers of admissions from Andhra Pradesh- AP. Yesterday former mayor of Vijayawada Tadi Shakuntala wore the party scarf. In the presence of BRS AP President Thota Chandrasekhar at the party office at Guntur JKC College Road, Tadi Shakuntala, State President of Women’s Federation Vemavarapu Varalakshmi, OBC Federation State General Secretary P. Malyadri and many other minority leaders joined BRS party.
Tadi Shakuntala from the Vijayawada Mughalrajapura served as the mayor of the city for a year in 2005-06. After that she worked in Congress and Telugu Desam Party- TDP for some time. After that Tadi Shakuntala joined YCP and now she has become a leader of BRS.
