ED- Enforcement Directorate, which summoned BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy for questioning recently in connection with money laundering in a drug peddling case, announced that it is probing the case of alleged attempt to poach 4 BRS MLAs into BJP-Bharatiya Janata Party.
Alleging that BJP is trying to implicate him in a false case through ED for exposing its leaders in MLAs poaching case, Pilot Rohith Reddy said he would approach the Telangana High Court against questioning by the central agency.
According to BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy, he wondered why ED authorities had sought to question him on MLAs’ poaching case. He said that he was the complainant in the case. Instead of questioning the accused, why should they question him? This is nothing but harassment.
He added that ED officials have no reason or connection with MLAs poaching case. There is no money laundering involved for ED to probe this case.
Pilot Rohith Reddy told reporters, “Since I exposed BJP in Telangana, they are trying to target me by framing me in the false case and by harassing my family members.”
Rohith Reddy added, “I suspect that ED officials will get a fabricated statement from Nanda Kumar to implicate me but I will not bow down because I have not done anything wrong.”
