BRS MLAs Poaching Case has created a sensation across the country. First the case was investigated by SIT. Handing over to CBI with the subsequent developments Telangana The High Court gave a single bench judgment.  However, the government appealed the single bench judgment in the division bench that there was no need for a CBI investigation. In this order, the court that heard the government’s appeal announced a key verdict today.

The Telangana government got a big shock in the high court in the MLA purchase case.  High Court upheld the single bench judgment and gave a green signal to the CBI investigation. The single bench had previously ordered to hand over the case to CBI. The government challenged the single bench judgment in the High Court. The court which conducted the inquiry to this extent handed over the responsibility of investigation of the case to the CBI and dismissed the petition of the state government. The suspense of whether this case will go to the CBI or handed over to the SIT has ended with the High Court verdict. On the other hand, it is reported that the government is thinking of going to the Supreme Court on the verdict of the High Court.

  The division bench comprising Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justice N Tukaramji dismissed the petitions of the state government and MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy challenging the order of the single judge transferring to the CBI the case relating to attempt to poach four legislators of BRS.

The division bench ruled that single judge bench’s order can’t be faulted and interfered with.
