Director Buchi Babu Sana, who made a promising debut with a romantic saga, Uppena, will soon collaborate with Jr NTR for a Telugu movie, which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. In past Jr NTR has worked for the same production house for Janatha Garage.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the upcoming film is a period sport drama set in the backdrop of Vizag. As Buchi Babu Sana’ directorial venture Uppena is minting good money at the box office, he is in huge demand. We have already reported that he is committed to work for Mythri Movie Makers for another project.
The sources say that Buchi Babu Sana penned a sports drama that is set in the backdrop of Vizag. The Uppena helmer narrated the idea to Jr NTR long ago. According to Buchi Babu, he penned the script of this sports drama considering Jr NTR in mind. If everything goes accordingly, the upcoming project will go on the floor once Jr NTR is done with Trivikram Srinivas project.
Currently Jr NTR is working with SS Rajamouli for upcoming much hyped multilingual drama RRR, which also has Olivia Morris, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.
