Bollywood actress Chitrangda Singh admitted that casting couch was a reality in Hindi Film Industry and that she lost out on projects because she did not give in to it. #MeToo movement has shaken Bollywood in 2018. Number of celebrities from the film Industry have come forward and revealed their stories. Recently during the media interaction, Chitrangda Singh admitted that the casting couch exists in Bollywood.
Chitrangda Singh admits that she has seen people asking for s**** favors, right from her modeling career. The actress also shared her experience and stated that it has happened with her but she also added that Hindi Film industry is not the place where anybody forces you. There is enough space in the Entertainment industry and respect for everyone.
Chitrangda Singh made her debut with Sudhir Mishra’s Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi which was released in 2003. She has appeared in few movies such as Yeh Saali Zindagi, Inkaar, Desi Boyz and Baazaar.
Chitrangda Singh started her career as a model before making the transition to the big screen. After completing her college education she started modeling with brands like ICICI bank and Alukkas Jewellery among others. On the work front, she will be next seen in Bob Biswas with Abhishek Bachchan, helmed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh.
