Arguments on the anticipatory bail of YCP MP Avinash Reddy, who is facing charges in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case, resumed today in the Telangana High Court. The CBI is mainly arguing on three points. Conspiracy to murder Viveka, Avinash Reddy custodial trial, denial of bail.

The CBI counsel told the court that Avinash Reddy was not cooperating with the CBI investigation and was obstructing the investigation of the case at every step. He said that by filing petitions in the court, they are acting to cause delay in the trial. He said that they want to get benefit by delaying the investigation. Why is there so much delay in the investigation? When the court questioned the CBI, the counsel for the CBI told the court. They said that they will investigate according to their policy. He said that many people have been interrogated in this case and some have been arrested. Whenever the notices were given, Avinash said that he would not attend the hearing citing some reason.

CBI counsel told the court that Avinas should be custodially interrogated. He said that there was a conspiracy a month before the murder of Viveka. The murder was done in a political sense. He said that Avinash’s family had political differences with Viveka. He asked the court not to grant anticipatory bail to Avinash. Special Public Prosecutor Anil is presenting arguments on behalf of CBI.
