Chandini Chowdhary who took Youtube by storm with her hot looks, and is also known as YouTube Queen, is making her comeback in Telugu Film Industry with an upcoming movie Manu. Chandini Chowdary is known to have started her career in Tollywood by starring in Telugu short films. She has been the part of few Telugu movies like Kundanapu Bomma, Howrah Bridge and Brahmotsavam. Recently during the media interaction, the actress opened up about her filmy career in Telugu film Industry and how she was cheated by a production house. Chandini Chowdhary said, “A top production house signed two years contract with me, though they came up with number of projects but did not offer me any role. The producer played with my career stalling those offers that came my way. As I had signed the contract with them, I could not sign any other project. Neither they offered any role nor allowed me to sign any project from outside. They spoiled my filmy career. I will never forget this production house.”
Regarding her character in Manu, Chandini Chowdhary said, “I play Neela, an intelligent young girl who is interested in arts, science and creativity. My role is very powerful. It is a role that I have never portrayed before. Shooting for a screenplay based film with a 1980’s backdrop was a different experience. I will be seen sporting an English look, and wearing the gowns in Manu.”
Brahmanandam’s son Raja Goutham, is playing the lead role. Phanindra Narisetti is making his directorial debut with this film Manu. The actor’s earlier film Basanti had released 4 years ago, but it didn’t succeed at the box office, though it got critical acclaim. The sources say that Raja Gowtham is trying a different genre and giving it his best.” Both Raja Gautham and Youtube Queen Chandini Chowdhary are pinning lot of hopes on Manu.
